How can a company that's suppose to be so great rip you off in pay. I have worked for this company and worked on time and so many hours and this place wants to rip me off and not pay.

Marci Miller is the worst person to work for. And she is a Director at Comfort Keepers. This person is very rude and half of her staff is prejudice. How do a person get ripped of for over $200 bucks and the Director wont call back to see what happen to the employees money..

Especially if a worker like myself that worked very hard for them and to be used as if you were a slave. I pray someone sees this and understand this is a terrible place to send your love ones and to work for especially if Marci Miller is over the company..

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

This is Joe Giauque, Director of Operations at Comfort Keepers. I wish youโ€™d taken advantage of our open door policy and spoken with me while you were employed by us, but Iโ€™m happy to take this opportunity to address your concerns one by one to the best of my ability.

First of all, your frustration about how hard it is to be a caregiver compared to what it pays is right on.

I feel it too, and I hate it. It is a constant struggle for all home care agencies to balance competitive compensation for caregivers, making care as affordable as possible for seniors, and NEVER taking shortcuts on quality. If itโ€™s truly an area of concern, please call around to others in the Denver area โ€“ youโ€™ll find we are extremely competitive in all three of these areas.

The truth is that, much like school teachers, every strong employee in the home care industry is worth so much more than what they get paid, myself included.

Home care simply is a bad deal if itโ€™s about the paycheck. It has to be about the calling to make a difference and only a select few share that calling.

Regarding your personal feelings that youโ€™ve been treated with prejudice and have had money taken from you/denied you, those are allegations we take very seriously. Again, I wish youโ€™d taken advantage of our open door policy and asked to speak with me about these in the past, but that door is still open.

I am truly sorry that it was a frustrating experience to learn that home care is not for you, but it is an acceptable conclusion to come to. Itโ€™s not for most people โ€“ thatโ€™s what makes our caregivers so special.
